  (1) Power consumption

  LED is a very energy-saving light-emitting device. The power consumption of LED devices determines the power consumption of LED full color displays. Taking the P20 full color outdoor display screen as an example, its average power consumption during video playback is about 250W per square meter. For some 24-hour advertisers, due to their large area and long playback time, power consumption is a concern. Higher brightness LEDs can be used to make display screens, allowing for the use of low current. Generally speaking, the nominal brightness of red, green, and blue LEDs is increased by 20% each, and the power consumption of the display screen will be reduced by 15% when the brightness of the display screen remains unchanged

  (2) Perspective

  The perspective of an LED full color display screen is determined by the perspective of the LED device. At present, most outdoor displays use elliptical LEDs with a horizontal viewing angle of 100 ° and a vertical viewing angle of 50 °, while indoor displays use SMD LEDs with both horizontal and vertical angles of 120 °. Due to its particularity, displays on highways generally use circular LEDs with a 30 ° viewing angle. Some displays on high-rise buildings have high requirements for vertical viewing angles. The angle of view and brightness are contradictory, and a large angle of view will inevitably reduce brightness. The choice of perspective needs to be determined based on the specific purpose.

  (3) Failure rate

  An important indicator of LED full color display screens is the blind spot rate of LED, which completely depends on the quality of LED devices (excluding the effects of solder joints, solder leaks, poor contact, etc. in the production process of the display screen). LED devices shall undergo various sampling tests before delivery, including normal temperature lighting, high temperature and humidity, cold and hot shock and other series tests, to ensure the stability, consistency and continuity of the product. Generally speaking, the Failure rate of high-quality LED devices used for full-color displays should be less than 1/10000 in 1000 hours.
