　　Under the same lumen value, the luminous intensity value of spotlight type LED beads is higher than that of astigmatic type LED beads. Due to the fact that its light is aggregated through itself, its luminous viewpoint is generally small, the illumination scale is small, and the brightness of the spot is high, but the surrounding area of the spot is not too high. The astigmatic LED beads have a large luminous viewpoint, reaching over 120 °, thus their illumination scale is large and the declared light is uniform. The size of the luminescent viewpoint of LED beads mainly depends on the packaging process, including the addition of scattering agents in the bracket, lens, and epoxy resin.

　　To achieve a highly directional luminous viewpoint, the following points need to be achieved:

　　A. The position of the LED bead tube core should be further away from the lens;

　　B. Transparent lens using bullet head LED light beads;

　　C. Do not add scattering agents to the encapsulated epoxy resin.

　　Spotlight type LED beads are suitable for occasions that require high brightness but have a smaller illumination scale, such as making spotlights, down lamps, desk lamps, flashlights, etc., while scattered type LED beads are more suitable for room lighting and occasions that require soft and uniform light.
