  To solve the heat dissipation of LED beads, there are two main aspects: LED bead chip heat dissipation and LED lamp heat dissipation. The heat dissipation of LED bead chips is mainly related to the selection and process of substrates and circuits. The heat generated by the LED bead chip constitutes the ambient temperature, which is dissipated into the air through the shell of the lamp. The heat dissipation of LED beads is not good because the thermal capacity of LED bead chips is very small. A small amount of heat accumulation can quickly increase the junction temperature of LED bead chips. If they work at high temperatures for a long time, the lifespan of LED beads will be quickly shortened. The heat of LED bead chips needs to be able to truly guide it to reach the external air through many channels. The heat generated by the LED bead chip comes out of its metal heat dissipation block, first through solder to the PCB of the aluminum substrate, and then through thermal conductive adhesive to reach the aluminum heat sink. So the heat dissipation of LED lamp beads actually includes two parts: heat conduction and heat dissipation.

  The heat dissipation of the LED lamp shell may vary depending on the power and usage location. There are currently several main methods of heat dissipation:

  1、 Aluminum heat dissipation fins: This is the most common heat dissipation method for LED lamp beads, using aluminum heat dissipation fins as a part of the shell to increase the heat dissipation area.

  2、 Thermal conductive plastic shell: Fill the plastic shell with thermal conductive materials during injection molding, increasing the thermal conductivity and heat dissipation capacity of the plastic shell.

  3、 Aerohydrodynamics utilizes the shape of the lamp shell to create convective air, which is the lowest cost method for enhancing heat dissipation.

  4、 The heat transfer tube utilizes the heat transfer tube technique to transfer heat from the LED bead chip to the shell heat dissipation fins.

  At present, the luminous power of LED beads is still relatively low, which leads to an increase in the junction temperature of LED beads and a decrease in their lifespan. In order to reduce the junction temperature and increase the lifespan, it is necessary to attach great importance to the heat dissipation of LED beads.
