  Driven by mobile communication technology and internet technology, the world has entered the information age, with the huge amount of daily information mainly transmitted to humans through the display screens of products such as mobile phones, computers, and televisions.   LCD belongs to passive light emitting technology, and the panel itself does not have luminous properties. It must use a backlight to achieve the display effect; OLED belongs to active luminescence technology and does not require a backlight. In addition, OLED has many advantages such as thin thickness, low energy consumption, unrestricted viewing angle, fast response speed, beautiful colors, and easy implementation of flexible display and 3D display. It is known by the industry as the next generation display technology after LCD and PDP.

  The manufacturing technology of LCD is very mature and is the mainstream product in the flat panel display market. Among various LCD products, Thin Film Field Effect Crystal Liquid Crystal Display (TFT-LCD) has become the mainstream of LCD flat panel displays due to its excellent image quality, high contrast, fast response speed, and mature manufacturing technology. It is widely used in mobile phones and tablet computer products.

  The manufacturing technology of OLED is not yet mature and is still in the stage of continuous development and improvement. Currently, it can be mainly achieved through two methods: PMOLED (Passive Matrix OLED) and AMOLED (Active Matrix OLED).
