In the LED display screen, the ratio of the number of lines lit at the same time to the number of lines in the whole area is called scanning mode. Static scanning does not require a control circuit, and its cost is higher than dynamic scanning, but it has the advantages of good display effect, good stability, and small brightness loss.
2. Operating principle of LED display 1/4 scanning mode
The operating principle of 1/4 scanning mode of LED display screen is that each line of power V1-V4 is turned on for 1/4 of the time according to the control requirements within one frame of image. The disadvantage is that within one frame, each line of LED can only display 1/4 of the time.
3. Classification according to LED display screen type scanning mode
(1) The scanning mode of indoor full-color LED display screen: P4 and P5 are constant current 1/16, and P6 and P7.62 are constant current 1/8.
(2) The scanning mode of outdoor full-color LED display screen: P10 and P12 are constant current 1/2 and 1/4, and P16, P20 and P25 are static.
(3) The scanning mode of monochrome dual color LED display screen is mainly constant current 1/4 scan, constant current 1/8 scan, constant current 1/16 scan.
