The LED backlight structure is mainly divided into two types, single -series power supply or multiple series of series/parallel power supply. Although a single series of connected power supply is used in a low constant current, the input power supply must be increased to the total directional voltage level that complies with the connected power supply in order to drive the LED. On the contrary, although multiple groups of series/connected LED power supply require higher constant currents to drive, it reduces the demand for high voltage. The difference in demand for boost converters depends on cost, complexity, and energy conversion efficiency (for users, equivalent to the battery life between the charging cycle).
