LED LCD displays are undoubtedly a popular vocabulary in the display market. Whether it is a display or a TV, there are a large number of products on the market. In fact, our so -called LED LCD display is not an accurate name. It is just the abbreviation for the media and netizens for convenience. Its full name should be LED backlight LCD display. According to the principle of the LCD display, the LCD display is different from the light of the liquid crystal molecular refraction of the light source. The liquid crystal molecules themselves cannot be glowing, which is mainly achieved by the radiation source. The backlight of most LCD displays is CCFL (that is, the cold cathode ray tube we often call), which is similar to our solar lamp tube. LED backlight is a new type of backlight for replacing CCFL.
Since it is a replacement of CCFL backlight, what is the better LED backlight than CCFL backlight? The first one is the luminous light. Because the lamp of CCFL backlight is usually a strip or U -shaped, it is prone to uneven lighting problems. Due to the different principles of LED, LED backlight is uniformly distributed, and there is no need to worry about uneven lighting.
Secondly, life expectancy is longer. The service life of ordinary CCFL backlight is 50,000 hours, while LED's service life is greater than 100,000 hours. Therefore, the liquid crystal display or LCD TV using LED backlight sources is better than the CCFL backlight after the use time is long.
Third, environmental protection is better. The use of CCFL backlight can never solve the toxic substance of "mercury", which is determined by its luminous principle. Take a look at our daily white light tube. The fluorescent lamps we use on weekdays contain "mercury" elements, and CCFL backlights with similar principles to the sunlight pipes cannot naturally solve this problem. However, LED has no such problem. One more point, the display of LED backlight is more energy -saving than the CCFL backlight display. Take a 21.6 -inch display as an example.
