1、 Partial black screen and large area black screen
Usually, when we talk about black screen, it refers to the phenomenon of one or more LED modules appearing as a whole area not lit when the LED display screen is playing normally. A few LED module areas not lit are called local black screen, and more areas are called large area black screen. When this phenomenon occurs, we usually first consider the power factor. Generally, check if the LED power indicator light is working properly. If the LED power indicator light is not lit, it is mostly due to power damage. It is sufficient to replace it with a new power supply corresponding to the power. It is also necessary to check if the power cord of the LED module corresponding to the black screen is loose. Many times, re tightening the cable head can also solve the black screen problem.
2、 Partial color block missing
Friends who are familiar with LED display screens have definitely seen this problem. When the LED display screen is playing normally, a small, square, and irregular colored block appears. This problem is usually caused by the burning of the color IC behind the control block, and the solution is to replace it with a new IC.
3、 Local "dead light" issue
Local "dead light" refers to one or several lights on the LED display screen that do not light up, which can be divided into full-time off light and partial color off light. Generally, this situation is caused by a problem with the light itself, whether it is damp or the RGB chip is damaged. Our repair method is simple, which is to replace it with factory equipped LED light beads. The tools used are tweezers and hot air guns. After replacing the spare LED light beads, Use the test card to retest again. If there are no problems, it is already fixed.
4、 Local garbled code
The problem of local garbled code is relatively complex, referring to the phenomenon of disorderly and irregular color blocks that may flicker randomly in local areas during the playback of LED display screens. When this problem occurs, we usually first investigate the connection problem of the signal cable. We can check whether the cable is burnt out, whether the network cable is loose, and so on. In maintenance practice, we found that the aluminum magnesium wire material is prone to burning out, while the pure copper wire has a longer lifespan. If the entire signal connection is checked and there are no issues, then swapping the faulty LED module with the neighboring normal playing module can basically determine whether it is possible that the LED module corresponding to the abnormal playing area is damaged. The cause of the damage is mostly IC issues, and maintenance and handling can be quite complex. We will not elaborate further here.
