SMT LED is attached to the surface of circuit boards, suitable for SMT processing and can be reflow soldered. SMT LED solves problems such as brightness, viewing angle, flatness, reliability, and consistency. Compared to other packaging devices, it has advantages such as strong vibration resistance, low solder defect rate, and good high-frequency characteristics. It encapsulates more LED chips on a smaller area, using lighter PCB and reflective layer materials, The reflective layer of the display requires less epoxy resin to be filled. By removing the heavier carbon steel material pins and reducing the size, the weight of the product can be easily reduced by half. The volume and weight are only about 1/10 of traditional plug-in components. After using patch packaging, the volume of electronic products is reduced by 40-60%, and the weight is reduced by 60-80%, ultimately making the application more perfect.
The packaging of inline LED adopts the form of encapsulation. The process of sealing is to first inject liquid epoxy resin into the LED molding cavity, then insert the pressed and welded LED bracket, place it in an oven to allow the epoxy resin to cure, and then detach the LED from the mold cavity to form. Due to its relatively simple manufacturing process and low cost, it has a high market share.
