The foundation of the 0mm seamless splicing screen is still the LCD splicing screen, and its biggest technical application is an LED light-emitting device. This light-emitting device is composed of a surface mounted 1.5mm LED light, and a packaging process is added on the surface to form a light-emitting strip with a width of about 0.5cm. By installing it at the junction of two splicing screens, it is used to restore the missing image caused by the physical border, thereby achieving seamless display of the splicing screen.
This technology, also known as LED light source compensation technology, fundamentally compensates for the missing part of the liquid crystal through LED, achieving the fusion of the two. It focuses on changing the part where the screen is spliced together, while keeping the rest unchanged.
Due to higher technical requirements and better display effects, seamless splicing screen technology naturally locks in the high-end splicing market in its application. Some users who used to be conflicted about splicing screens with seams but wanted high-definition large screen displays have better options, so applications such as video conference display systems, big data display systems, and integrated media display platforms are very widespread. Seamless splicing technology is still a type of splicing screen, but it eliminates traditional stitching and further provides the effect of the entire large screen.
Although the minimum splicing seam of the current splicing screen has reached 0.88mm on both sides, the physical splicing seam after splicing will reach about 1.9mm. This is because during splicing, some space is left to prevent screen compression, which to some extent increases the width of the splicing seam. The seamless splicing technology directly solves this problem, and from then on, the splicing screen can also be seamlessly spliced and displayed like LED.
