Traditionally, LCD splicing screens have a few millimeter sized border around them. After splicing screens, some are 3.5mm, some are 1.8mm, etc. This border is professionally called splicing. The smaller the stitching, the better the cross screen display effect. However, due to the current limitations of LCD technology, it is not yet possible to manufacture borderless LCD panels. The minimum size is 0.88mm, and after splicing, it will actually reach around 1.5mm.
If this conventional product is used to display video surveillance images, the impact of stitching is not significant. However, if it is used to display a large image, such as playing videos, images, displaying text, etc., the entire image will be divided by different numbers of black lines, affecting the overall display effect, which will generate a huge demand for seamless large screens.
The seamless splicing of LCD screens is a solution to the problem of splicing. Based on the LCD, the splicing is eliminated, achieving a physical technical parameter of 0mm and visually accessible, greatly improving the overall visual experience.
